Gopher Block UHD is constructed from T-304, 18-8 stainless steel to provide the ultimate level of rot resistance and strength when installed below ground. The stainless steel gopher wire roll provides an estimated 12+ year below ground lifespan ideal for long term installations. The wire mesh measures 20 gauge with hexagonal mesh openings of 3/4". This opening size is ideal for gopher protection as it blocks both mature and young gophers from passing while preventing nearby plant and grass roots from being "choked" as can occur with smaller mesh sizes.

Our wire mesh has undergone a very specific manufacturing process which provides the mesh with extreme resistance to breakdown when exposed to moisture.

Our mesh is so moisture resistant that it can even be buried underground for years without breakdown.
