The Sewer Line Root Barrier is a root control product that is both permeable and flexible. It can be used in horizontal or vertical applications to protect your sewer line from tree root damage. This product uses a slow-release herbicide called Trifluralin that is slowly released that prevents root tip cell division, while also, not causing any damage to the tree. Only the root tip cell close to the nodule will lose its ability to divide and grow.
Added features of the the Sewer Line Root Barrier are that it allows water, air and nutrients to pass through the fabric while not causing any adverse affects to the soil hydrology.
