It comes in a long roll in various widths, and has herbicide nodules of Trifluralin that stop root tip cell division. The benefits are that the herbicide only stops root growth in that direction and does not hurt the tree.

The fabric roll is permeable and allows water, air, and nutrients to flow through. Additionally it does not effect the soil's hydrology.
