Detectable Warning Plate - ADA Compliant
FREE SHIPPING
Detectable Warning Plates are the ideal in-ground solution for pedestrian safety. These Warning Plates are engineered to be wet set in concrete, and they provide tactile and auditory feedback for pedestrians who are visually impaired. By encountering the plates underfoot or with the aid of a walking cane the Access Tile warning plates provide auditory feedback for the passerby notifying that there is either traffic or elevation changes nearby.
The warning plates are required by the American Disability Act ADA to be placed on crosswalks, in parking garages, near escalators, and on transit platforms among other applications.
These units are made in the Cast in Place style of truncated domes and are meant to be installed into concrete. After the concrete has cured the tiles can be unscrewed from their feet and replaced should they become damaged or wear out after prolonged use.
