The 6" lateral Inserta Tee fitting is a three-piece service connection consisting of a PVC hub, rubber sleeve, and stainless steel band.

The Inserta Tee fitting compression fits into the cored wall of a mainline and requires no special tooling. Inserta Tees are designed to connect 6" laterals to any SDR35 PVC Mainline. Inserta Tee fittings are the perfect solution to reconnect all of your laterals for pipe bursting, relining and CIPP projects. Plastic Drainage Pipes are used for moving liquids, such as water, from one place to another. There are different kinds and grades of pipes, some are smooth both inner and outer while others are corrugated. The more common varieties are used for landscaping while many others are used in sewers. As each pipe serves a different purpose, it's important to choose the right one for your project.

Weather Conditions

Almost all plastic pipes are resilient to all weather conditions with the exception of extreme conditions. Plastic pipes have become very popular due to their versatility and are always available. These plastic drainage pipes are lightweight and very easy to install. As there are several plastic drainage pipes that serve different purposes, they come in a variety of diameter sizes to accommodate different amounts of water. The standard diameter used for outdoor landscaping is 4 inches in diameter.

Some plastic drainage pipes are designed for durability and strength while others are for light projects such as drain spouts. Whatever your project might require, be sure to choose what will work best for you. According to strength, here are some good drainage pipes to choose from:

This is an example of text.This is the strongest pipe that is manufactured using polyethylene of high density These pipes have a smooth interior wall and a corrugated exterior wall which is extremely strong. The pipe is equivalent in strength to concrete pipe but lighter in weight, much easier to cut, and quite economical. These pipes are used in many different applications but are usually used where a high strength rating is needed. For instance, they are used for commercial driveways where trucks drive over areas where the pipes are buried.

Due to its light weight, special equipment is not needed to move it, and is very easy to handle, especially if larger pipes are needed. These pipes can be cut with a basic PVC saw or reciprocating saw. The cost is usually a lot less than concrete pipe, especially when considering labor installation time.

The SDR 35 Pressure Regulated Valve drainage pipes are usually chosen for municipal sewer systems but can be used in other applications as well. When dealing with stormwater management, it's the most popular when a contractor needs a stronger pipe with a smooth outer and inner wall compared to other piping. The SDR 35 PVR ranges in size from 4 inches to 3 feet in diameter. That said, most residential applications will not require a pipe larger than 6 inches in diameter. SDR pipe is not cumbersome to install due to the rubber gasket connection. The downside, its price is higher and availability might be limited. These pipes are not as strong as N12 or Schedule 40, it's more than adequate for bulk residential and light commercial applications.

The Schedule 20 Sewer And Drain Pipes

Schedule 20 Sewer And Drain Pipes are the most commonly used pipes for drainage and stormwater applications. The wall of these pipes are considered light-duty but can handle average loads of pressure that are found in most residential landscape projects. The cost is very reasonable which is why they are a popular choice. The outer diameter is the same as Schedule 35. The fittings are interchangeable with each other which offers good versatility. It's recommended for use where any type of vehicular traffic would not cross the area. If traffic would be present, a transition can be made to SDR 35 to withstand traffic crossing.

The Schedule 40 Sewer Drainage Pipes

Schedule 40 Sewer Drainage pipes are used worldwide for indoor plumbing applications but are also used for outdoor landscaping projects. It is a higher-strength rigid pipe with smooth inner and outer walls. When strength is required, it's more economical to use N-12 pipes but for some projects, the Schedule 40 will meet the needs due to its smooth outer wall. Many customers prefer the look of the Schedule 40 for its smooth white pipe if there are areas where the pipe will be exposed above the grade such as a gutter downspout connection to the plumbing system.

Corrugated Flexible Drainage Pipes

If you are looking for strength, corrugated flexible drainage pipes are at the bottom of the list. The cost is very economical if you do not need a sturdier pipe. Due to its lower strength, this pipe is very flexible and usually comes in 100ft coils. The most popular application using this pipe is for a French Drian which would be a perforated version of the pipe. That said, there are other uses as well including retaining wall drainage or where there would be many turns in order to run the pipe to its final drain point or “daylight”. Its flexibility allows for runs without having to use fittings. You will save on installation labor as well as the overall cost as fittings are not needed.
